Zane State provides a lot of services like Career Services, Tech Solutions services, and Mental Health services and Mental Health counseling.
They offer free tutoring services. And a lot of the programs will help you make study groups.
Even financial help. They've always got all kinds of different options and avenues for different grants.
Our advisors, as well as our professors are super helpful.
When you go online, you can actually schedule your own times for tutoring, which is really nice. So you can see the availability of the professor. And then you can actually go in, meet with them and do what you need to do on your time.
The Tech Solution Center provides laptops and technology and support for students who might be in need of more help or even help getting set up for the majors that they're in.
When veterans come in and want to utilize their benefits, they come directly to the Veterans Resource Center, which is actually in the registrar's office as well. If they're coming straight out of the service or if they are still in the service. What we do is we make the transition as easy as possible. We have a lounge, a VA lounge and computer lab and these are strictly for veterans. They can come anytime they want. Even if it's after hours we make, you know, arrangements for them.
For somebody who's looking for a lot of interaction and didn't necessarily have it in high school. I would highly recommend getting involved with TRIO because they've got all kinds of events going on all the time and it's been awesome.
I feel safe on campus. I don't think there's ever been a moment where I haven't.
You have police patrolling especially like around nighttime, they'll come to lock up make sure all the doors are locked, everything's secured.
The bookstore made it super simple to get all my books and everything I needed. And if I needed help, all I had to do was call in and they helped me to access my books that were online or that I couldn't get to.
I would say Zane State definitely wants their students to succeed. I feel more at this college than I did it others.
