The College Credit Plus Program is a dual enrollment program. So if you're in high school, then you'll go to the college and be on campus and take college classes. Most of the Zane State classes do transfer out to almost all public Ohio schools. So that was a really big benefit. When I was choosing what colleges I wanted to go to and apply for. Coming to the college, I got a lot of the classes that I needed out of the way and I won't have to pay for that for my undergraduate and stuff like that.
I came to Zane State, my junior year of high school as a CCP student. I received almost enough credits to get an associate's degree before I even graduated high school. I went on to University of Kentucky. I majored in Equine Science and Management. And I spent three years there where I got my bachelor's degree. And then I transferred back to Zane State to get my associates in physical therapist assisting.
I technically live about 25 minutes from here, so it's not too bad. I would consider the drive well worth it. You can still be involved in your high school and still have those friendships there. While also furthering your future by going to Zane State and taking those classes and they balance each other out pretty well.
It's really easy for students to find scholarships. There are always people that can help you figure out what exactly you can apply for and what's available. For anybody considering coming here after their bachelor's, I would highly recommend it. You're getting a lot more hands-on skills, you're learning all kinds of new skill sets, and it's gonna make you I think, a lot more marketable.
I really appreciate all of my professors. I love all of them and I'm happy to be here and it's a great experience, in my opinion.
